Riedel, Addie (25 June 1901 – 11 November 1975)

A lifelong resident of the Town of Lynn, Mrs. Alfred (Addie) Riedel, 74, of Rt. 1 Granton, died Tuesday morning, November 11, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield. Funeral services were held Friday from Zion Lutheran Church, Granton, with the Rev. Everett Schleef officiating. Burial was in the Lynn Cemetery. The Gilbertson Funeral Home at Granton was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Riedel, the former Addie Jensen, was born June 15, 1901, in the Town of Lynn and was educated in schools there. She was married November 11, 1923, in Neillsville, to Alfred Riedel. Since then, she had lived on a farm in the Town of Lynn. Mrs. Riedel was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Granton.

Survivors in addition to her husband, include one son, Ralph Riedel of Granton, and four grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Harvey Johnson, Duane Anding, Norman Beilke, Harold Beilke, Don Stringer and James Beilke.

Mrs. Roger Helm was the organist. Hymns were sung by the congregation.
