Elsinger, Anna (2 November 1880-31 December 1965)
LOYAL--Mrs. Anna M. Elsinger, 85, Marshall, Michigan, a former Loyal resident,
died Friday at Oaklawn Hospital in Marshall.
Services will be held Tuesday at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Loyal. The
Rev. Norbert King will officiate, and burial will be made in the parish
cemetery.
The body will repose at the Myre Funeral Home at Loyal until time of services. A
general rosary service will be conducted there Monday followed by the Knights of
Columbus rosary.
The former Anna Redig was born November 2, 1880, at St. Lawrence, and was
married there October 29, 1901, to John Elsinger. Five years after their
marriage the couple moved to a farm near Loyal where they lived until 1942, when
they moved to the city of Loyal. After the death of Mr. Elsinger on November 4,
1960, she made her home with a daughter at Marshall, Michigan.
Mrs. Elsinger was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church at Loyal.
Survivors include six sons, George, San Diego, California; John, Jr., Loyal;
Francis, Oshkosh; Andrew, Guttenberg, Iowa; Gerald, Conway, Arkansas; and
Lawrence, Dell Rapids, South Dakota; three daughters, Mrs. Thomas (Veronica)
Goode, Evanston, Illinois; Mrs. Richard (Sylvia) Reuter, Marshall, Michigan; and
Mrs. Paul (Marion) Reuter, DeWitt, Michigan, six sisters, Sister M. Huberta, and
Sister M. Robert, St. Joseph's Convent, Milwaukee, Sister M. Anbrulla, McHenry,
Illinois; Mrs. Helen Weyer, Loyal; Mrs. Rose Wagner, West Bend; Mrs. Kathryn
Krebs. St. Lawrence; a brother, Phillip Redig, Saukville; 41 grandchildren, and
29 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two children and a brother.
