Beatrice Gebert (20 Sep 1911 – 31 Mar 2010)

Beatrice Gebert, 98, Fort Atkinson, died Wednesday, March 31 at Golden Living Center in Fort Atkinson. Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 10 at 11:30 a.m. at Helke Funeral Home in Wausau, with Rev. Dennis Romine officiating. Entombment will be at Restlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:30 until time of the service.

The former Beatrice McCarthy was born September 20, 1911 in Wisconsin to the late Arthur and Vera (Bowen) McCarthy.

She married Frank Gebert Sr., in Medford, and he preceded her in death on May 15, 1991.

Survivors include nine children, Lynn (Carol) of Algoma, Frank Jr. and Henrietta Wildman of Wausau, Gary (Lenore) of Abbotsford, Wayne and Lee of Medford, Elliott (Donna) of Sheboygan, Karen (Kenton) Marti of Watertown and Lyle (Regina) of Indiana; a brother, Russell; 27 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by four sisters and two brothers.
