Joyce, Thomas (1867-14 June 1933)
Thomas Joyce, 65, died at his home, 407 North Peach Street, this morning. He had
been in poor health for several years.
Funeral services will be conducted at St. John's Catholic Church Saturday
morning, the Rev. Father A. J. Dorrenbach officiating, and the body will be
transported to Loyal for burial. A rosary service will be conducted at the Rembs
Funeral Home, where the body is lying in state Friday.
Mr. Joyce was born at Columbus, Wisconsin, in 1867, and he was married in 1891
to Miss Elizabeth Karrow. They moved to Clark County in 1902, living on a farm
until 1928, when they moved to Marshfield because of Mr. Joyce's failing health.
They have lived here since.
Surviving are Mrs. Joyce and two children, William, and Mrs. John Meyers,
Marshfield. A son, Edward, died in the war in 1918 and a daughter, Mrs. Ernest
Crosset died in 1925. There are also 10 grandchildren.
