Patricia Bock (17 Nov 1936 – 30 Jul 2006)
Patricia Bock, 69, Dorchester, died Sunday, July 30, 2006, at the home of her
son in Greenwood.
She was born Nov. 17, 1936 in Woodbury County, Iowa. She worked as a beautician
before her marriage.
She and Bernard Bock Sr. were married Nov. 21, 1969, in Charter Oak, Iowa. They
farmed in the Dorchester area from 1975-1982 when they moved to Dorchester. She
was an in-home daycare provider from 1990 until the present time. Mrs. Bock made
crafts and sold them at area craft sales and fairs. She also sold Tastefully
Simple food products. She enjoyed garage sales. She was a member of Zion
Lutheran Church, Homemakers Club, and the Neighborhood Watch.
Mrs. Bock is survived by her children, Bernard (Jenni) Bock Jr., Greenwood, Toni
Watnem, Watertown, Kenneth (Diane) Rench, and Vicky (Dale) Wille, Waterloo; 16
grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one sister, Judie (Don) Clausen,
Schleswig, Iowa.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard Bock Sr.; two daughters,
Sharon Nelson and Doris Delo; one granddaughter, Tahira Rench Seefeldt; and one
brother, Gale Andresen.
Funeral services were held Aug. 2 at Zion Lutheran Church, Colby. Burial was in
Dorchester Memorial Cemetery. Reverend Mark Neumann presided.
