Marion N. Sorenson (1863 – 12 Oct 1944)

Marion N. Sorenson, 81, died on October 12, 1944 in Milwaukee according to word received by his brother Andrew Sorenson. Marion passed away at St. Luke’s Hospital and funeral services were held at the Tebo and Johnson mortuary. Burial was made in Mt. Olivet cemetery.

Mr. Sorenson was a former resident of Dorchester. He retired from the Milwaukee police department 23 years ago because of an injury. He was injured when he fell from a police patrol wagon while transporting a prisoner. Fellow members of the Police and Firemen’s association acted as pallbearers at the funeral services.

Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Mae Waisner and Mrs. Theodore Anthes of Milwaukee; two grandchildren; and three brothers.

Andrew Sorenson and his grandson, Dale Sorenson, went to Milwaukee to attend the services.
