LOYAL--Mathilda Meyer, 98, a resident of Marshfield Living Center, formerly of
the Loyal area, died Saturday at the Living Center. She had been a resident
there since 1978.
Services will be Wednesday at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Loyal, with the
Rev. Chester Osowski officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Pallbearers will be LaMont, Tom and Rick Dumler, Rick Sapinski, Dick Scheafer
and Jesse Nowak.
Visitation will be at Rinka Funeral Home, Loyal, Tuesday and until time of
services Wednesday.
She was born August 14, 1891, in Tony, to the late William and Mary Newhouse.
She attended Loyal Schools.
She was married to Albert Meyer January 23, 1917, in Loyal. He died May 22,
1976.
After her marriage, she and her husband farmed in Heintown for many years. They
then moved to the city of Loyal.
She is survived by two daughters, Mary Ann Meyer of Milwaukee and Mrs. Walter
(Ruth) Dumler of Spencer; 12 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was also predeceased by one daughter, Isabelle, three sisters,one brother
and one great grandson.
