Ulrich, George (14 January 1889 – 6 December 1975)
Funeral services were held Tuesday from the Georgas-Gesche Funeral Home for a
former Clark County resident, George Ulrich, 86, of Park Falls, who died
suddenly December 6 at Memorial Hospital. The Rev. Ronald Nordin of Calvary
Lutheran Church officiated, and burial followed in the Neillsville City
Cemetery.
Mrs. Ulrich, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Ulrich, Sr., was born
January 14, 1889, at Peru, Il., and was educated in schools in Clark County. He
worked in the Park Falls area as a logger until he entered military service
during World War I, serving with the Army in Europe. Upon leaving the service,
Mr. Ulrich returned to Park Falls where he worked until his retirement in 1950.
He was a former member of the Park Falls American Legion Post.
His marriage to the former Elsie Zoesch, who survives, took place in 1933 in
Chicago, Il.
Mr. Ulrich is also survived by a brother, Ernest, of Neillsville.
