LOYAL--Alvin Miller, 90, Loyal, died Monday at the Neillsville Memorial Home.

Services will be Thursday at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Loyal. The Rev. Chester Osowski will officiate. Burial will be in St. Anthony's Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Steve, Dennis, Dave, Greg and Robert Miller, and Roger and Mike Ehlers.

Visitation will be at the Rinka Funeral Home in Loyal Wednesday. The PCCW Rosary will be held Wednesday, with a general rosary and the Knights of Columbus Rosary, all at the funeral home.

He was born March 20, 1898, in Watertown, to Joseph and Mary Miller. He attended the Lions School and St. Anthony's Parochial School.

He married Dorothy Zander October 11, 1947, in Cross Plaines.

He farmed all his life near Loyal. From 1964 to 1966, he worked at the Neillsville Hotel, and from 1966 to 1979, he was the janitor for the Loyal High School.

He was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church, and the Knights of Columbus-Our Lady of Fatima Council.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy; three sons, Raymond and James, both of Loyal, and Donald of Milwaukee; three daughters, Mrs. William (Linda) Ehlers of Greenwood, Mrs. James (Mary Ann) Clemens of Wauwatosa, and Mrs. Susan Krupka of Colby; one brother, Max of the Neillsville Memorial Home; 14 grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his parents, five sisters, two half sisters, and one half brother Edward.
