Neuman, Harold Lloyd "Heinie" (27 January 1912-9 June 2000)

Harold L. "Heinie: Neuman, 88, of 2214 Peach Ave, Marshfield, formerly of Loyal, died Friday, June 9, 2000, at Sylvia's Rest Haven. Marshfield where he had resided since February of 1998.

Funeral services will be on Tuesday, June 13, 2000, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Loyal, with Rev. Joseph Henseler officiating. Burial will follow in St. Anthony's Catholic Cemetery, Loyal. Pallbearers will be grandchildren, and honorary pallbearers will be Harvey Degenhardt, Don Hills, Sherrin Mack, Keith Weyhmiller and fellow members of Knights of Columbus.

Visitation will be held Monday, June 12, 2000, at Cuddie Funeral Home in Loyal.

Harold Lloyd Neuman was born January 27, 1912, in Loyal, the son of Henry and Lottie (nee Nelson) Neuman. He received his education in the Humburg, Marshfield and Loyal areas.

Harold and Viola Luepke were united in marriage on November 10, 1932, in Loyal. They resided in Loyal where Harold worked for the Borden Cheese Company for 30 years. Following their retirement, Harold worked part-time as a handyman in Arizona as well as for all the widows in Loyal. He was a firefighter with the Loyal Fire Department for 30 years, bowled, and was a member of the Knights of Columbus, 3rd and 4th Degree.

Harold was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Loyal.

He will be sadly missed by his children; daughters, Jean (Corky) Grisham of Niceville, Florida, and Kay (Roman ) Schaefer of Marshfield; sons, Jack (Judy) Neuman of the town of Rome, Adams County, and Jan Neumann on Montgomery, Alabama, a daughter-in-law, Aleta Neuman of Lemar, Colorado; 25 grandchildren and 37 great-grandchildren; a sister, Betty (Cliff) Anton of Glenwood, Minnesota.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Heinie's name to the Parkinson's Research Foundation would appreciated.

Cuddie Funeral Home of Loyal is assisting the family with the arrangements.
