Schindler, Bernadette (28 March 1922-8 September 1992)

Services for Bernadette Schindler, 70, 915 W. Sixth St, Marshfield, who died at St. Joseph's Hospital hospice home, House of the Dove, will be Saturday at St. Anthony'y Catholic Church, Loyal.

The Rev. Roman Kaiser will officiate. Burial will be in the parish cemetery, and nephews will serve as pallbearers.

Visitation will be at Rinka Funeral Home, Loyal Friday. A Parish Council of Catholic Women rosary will be Friday and a prayer service, both at the funeral home.

She was born Mach 28, 1922, in Chippewa County, to Sebastian and Anna (Bowe) Schindler. She attended schools in the Chippewa Falls area. She never married.

She went to Chicago after her schooling and worked as a nurse taking care of the elderly. She moved to the Loyal area, town of Beaver, in 1959 and lived there until 1977. She then moved to Marshfield,

Survivors include six brothers. Edward of Marshfield, Fred and Elmer, both of Curtiss, Albert of LaMont, Illinois, James of Unity and Kenneth of Marshall, Illinois and three sisters, Mrs. Laone Lieske and Marie Schindler, both of Eau Claire, and Mrs. Fred (Margaret) Hinkle of Madison.

She was predeceased by her parents and two sisters.
