Birg, Mary (1 September 1900 – 4 January 1976)
Funeral services were held last Thursday in South Gate, Ca., for Mrs. Vernon
Birg, a native of Chili, who died there January 4.
Mrs. Birg, nee Mary Peters, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Peters,
was born September 1, 1890, in Chili. She was married to Vernon Birg in South
Gate in 1926.
Surviving besides her husband are a son, William of Pomona, Ca.; a daughter,
Patsy, of Stanwood, Wa.; five brothers, including John Peters of Chili; a
sister; and 17 grandchildren.
