Schefchik, Emil (4 October 1907-2 September 1989)
Emil Shefchik, 81, died September 2, 1989, at the Marshfield Living Center,
Marshfield.
The son of the late Frank and Margaret (Seidelgantz) Shefchik, he was born
October 4, 1907, in Kewaunee County.
On November 27, 1928, he married Hildegard Renz in Loyal.
Until retiring in 1970, he farmed in the town of Beaver. Then he moved to Loyal
and worked at Pathfinder Mobile Homes.
He was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Loyal.
Surviving are five sons, Lawrence, Barstow, California, Edwards, Milwaukee,
Richard, Marshfield, Raymond, Kenosha and Emil, Jr., Cedarburg; four daughters,
Mrs. Jack (Eleanor) Welch, Moorecraft, Wyoming, Mrs. Arthur (Angeline) Gregory,
Granton, Mrs. David (Joan) Abbott, Oregon, Illinois, Mrs. Larry (Jean) Menehan,
Racine; 33 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were his wife, in September 1971; one son, Elmer,
Kenosha, in November 1987; eight sisters; five brothers; and three
granddaughters.
The Rinka Funeral Home in Loyal is in charge of arrangements.
