Walter, Beatrice M. (31 December 1915-20 June 1995)
LOYAL--Beatrice M. Walter, 79, Loyal, June 20, 1995, at Marshfield Nursing and
Rehabilitation Center.
Funeral services will be Friday at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Loyal with
the Rev. Roman Kaiser officiating. Pallbearers will be John Walter, Allan
Walter, James Walter, Kevin Steines, Joe Walter Sr., Anthony Walter and William
Hoffman. Burial will be in St. Anthony's Cemetery.
Visitation will be today at Rinka Funeral Home in Loyal. There will be a PCCW
Rosary and a prayer service today at the funeral home.
Beatrice was born December 13, 1915, in the town of York. She was married to
Anthony G. Walter on June 8, 1938, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church. He died
December 22, 1994.
Beatrice was born and raised on the family farm. After her education, she
continued to work on the farm until her marriage. She then farmed with her
husband and was an excellent homemaker. She entered the nursing home in February
1991 and resided there until her death. She was a member of St. Anthony's
Catholic Church and was involved with St. Anthony's PCCW for many tears. She
enjoyed sewing and devoted her life to her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by two sons, Anthony (Alice) Walter Jr., and Joseph (Kathleen)
Walter Sr., all of Loyal; one daughter, Kathryn (Delmane) Schwellenbach of
Christie; 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by one daughter, Janice; her parents, Charles and Minnie
(Kauffman) Buddinger; one brother, Carl Buddinger; one half-brother, Ernest
Crosset; one sister, Bernice Buddinger; and one half-sister, Frances Young.
