Wenzel, Minnie (29 May 1866-12 August 1955)
Mrs. Minnie Wenzel, 89, of Random Lake, died Friday at St. Nicholas Hospital
after a short illness.
The former Minnie Breit, she was born in Germany, May 29, 1866, and came to
America with her parents when a young girl.
She was married to Louis Wenzel in 1884 at Appleton, following which the couple
lived for many years in Loyal (Clark County) and Hartford, Wisconsin. For the
past seven years she has made her home with her children.
She is survived by two sons, Ed of Hartford and Louis of Random Lake; one
daughter, Mrs. F. H. (Marie) Blaisdell of Columbus, Ohio; seven grandchildren
and nine great-grandchildren; two brothers, Frank Breit of Butternut, Wisconsin,
and Nick of Hartford.
She was preceded in death by her husband and four children.
Services will be held Tuesday at the Wilk Funeral Home, Random Lake, and at St.
Mary's Catholic Church, Random Lake. The Rev. Frank Kovac, pastor, will be
celebrant of the requiem mass. Burial will be in the Loyal, Wisconsin
