Westhoff, Regina (7 November 1896-4 February 1993)

LOYAL--Regina Westhoff, 96, formerly of Loyal, died Thursday at St. Joseph's Hospital Hospice Care Unit, Marshfield.

Services will be Monday at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Loyal, with the Rev. Roman Kaiser officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery, and grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.

Visitation will be at Rinka Funeral Home, Loyal, Sunday with a PCCW rosary service and a prayer service.

The former Regina Diepenbrook was born November 7, 1896, in Germany. She was married to Erich Walter Wethoff May 24, 1927, in Germany, and he died April 9, 1984.

She came to the United States in 1926 and settled in Illinois. She moved to the town of Beaver in 1947 and farmed until 1968. She continued to live on the farm after retiring from farming.

She was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Magdalena Hall of Loyal; one son, Walter of Wildwood, Illinois; two sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Haserkamp and Mrs. Hegwig Schmitz, both of Germany; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by several brothers and sisters and one daughter, Jutta Rohs, who died January 8.
