McHugh, Grace (24 September 1884 – 20 January 1976)
A Neillsville native, Mrs. Grace McHugh of Memorial Home, died Tuesday, January
20, at the age of 91. Funeral services were held Friday morning from the
Georgas-Gesche Funeral Home with the Rev. Joseph Henseler of St. Mary’s Catholic
Church officiating. Burial was in the Neillsville City Cemetery.
Mrs. McHugh, the daughter of Angelo and Julia Winn Lyons, was born September 24,
1884, in Neillsville and was educated in local schools. After moving to Chicago,
she was married to Robert McHugh. Mrs. McHugh worked in Chicago until the death
of her husband, when she returned to Neillsville. She had been a resident of
Memorial Home for many years. There are no immediate survivors.
