Boeck, Emma (23 July 1904-5 October 1971)

LOYAL--Funeral services have been set for Friday at the Trinity Lutheran Church, Loyal, For Mrs. Harry (Emma) Boeck, 67, Loyal.

The Rev. William Humlie, pastor, will officiate and burial will be made in the Lutheran Cemetery, Loyal. Visitaitons may be made at the Roycraft Funeral Home.

The former Emma Frerichs was born July 23, 1904, in Hildreth, Nebraska and received her education there. She had been employed as head cook at the Martin Luther Home in Sterling, Nebraska, prior to her marriage to Harry Boeck, September 5, 1937, in Hildreth. The couple farmed there until 1953 when they came to Clark County. They operated a farm in Willard township and in 1954 moved to a farm in the Loyal township. In 1955 they came to the city of Loyal, where they had since resided.

She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church, the Church Circle, and was presently a cook at the Loyal High School.

Survivors include her husband; three sons, Ronald, Anaheim, California; Lawrence, Sacramento, California; and Duane, Milwaukee; two grandchildren; four brothers, Otto, Onno and John Frerichs, all of Hildreth, Nebraska; and Herman Frerichs, Loomis, Nebraska; and two sisters, Mrs. Eilert (Helena) Westerbvhe, Hildreth, Nebraska, and Mrs. Burt (Anna) Ludington, Bridgeport, Nebraska.

She was preceded in death by two sisters and her parents.
