Bredlau, David (11 April 1927-15 April 1983)

COLBY-- David Bredlau, 56, formerly of Colby, died Friday evening at Riverview Hospital, Waupaca. Services will be Tuesday at the Rux Funeral home, Colby. The Rev. T. P. Bradtke, of Marshfield will officiate. Burial will be in the Veefkin Cemetery. Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No, 2227 of Colby will conduct gravesides military rites. Visitation will be at the Rux Funeral Home, Colby.

He was born April 11, 1927 in Loyal, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Bredlau. He was employed at Weyerhauser Company and Rollohome Corporation, Marshfield, until retiring in 1962 due to ill health. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in Germany, and was awarded the Purple Heart. He was a member of the VFW post of Colby.

***Note: Obit says burial was at Veefkind Cemetery but actual burial is Salem Lutheran Cemetery.
