Domine, John (1876-9 February 1968)

LOYAL-- Graveside rites were conducted Monday at the Catholic cemetery here for John Domine, 92, Waterloo, Iowa, a former resident of Loyal, who died Friday at St. Mary's Hospital in Waterloo. The Rev. Norbert E. King, pastor of St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Loyal, officiated.

Mr. Domine had attended school in Loyal, then farmed in the Loyal area until 20 years ago, when he moved to Iowa. He was married to the former Clara Seitz, of Spencer, who preceded him in death in 1949.

Survivors are two sons, Roman, Route 2, Marshfield; and Edwin, Fresno, California; four daughters, Mrs. Harold (Rose Lee) Wynn, Park Ridge, Illinois, Mrs. Forrest (Sylvia) Claffin, Beloit; Mrs. Nick (Jewel) Anderson and Mrs. Albert (Cleone) Grevey, Deerfield, Illinois; two sisters, 11 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son and two brothers.
