Krahn, William (23 September 1851-12 June 1930)

William Krahn, 77, Chili, a farmer, died in St. Joseph's Hospital this morning. Death was caused by acute inflamation of the pancreas, peritonitis and double pneumonia, according to Dr. Paul E. Doege, attending physician. Krahn had been a patient of the hospital since June 8.

Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at Loyal. The Rev. Oswald Hensel will officiate in the Lutheran church there. Burial will be in the Loyal cemetery.

Two sons, seven daughters, and eight grandchildren survive, beside the widow, Anna. The sons are Otto and William, Jr.; the daughters, Miss Della Krahn, residing at the Chili home; the Misses Lillian and Goldie Krahn, Milwaukee; Mrs. Emily Mahoney, Minneapolis; Mrs. Rynald Stackart, living near Chili on Route 1; Mrs. Fred Buss, Kewaskum; and Mrs. Adolph Backus, Marshfield.
