Lucht, Arthur (28 November 1901-25 January 1991)
LOYAL--Services for Arthur Lucht, 89, Spencer, who died Friday at his home, were
today at Trinity Lutheran Church. The Rev. Joseph R. Kraly officiated. Burial
was in Loyal Lutheran Cemetery.
Pallbearers were grandsons, Michael, Mark, Steve, David, Charles and Larry
Lucht, and a great-grandson, Vaughn Lucht.
Rinka Funeral home, Loyal, handled arrangements.
He was born November 28, 1901, in the town of Sherman, to the late Charles and
Emily (Ewan) Lucht. He attended Spokeville School in the town of Sherman.
He married Lena Sorenson November 10, 1924, in Unity. She died December 9, 1988.
He had operated his own dance band in the 1940s. He farmed in the town of
Sherman until 1951. He then operated a mink ranch business until retiring in
1963. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.
Survivors include two sons, Gerald of Loyal and Eugene of Spencer; one sister,
Mrs. Martha Zuehlke of Oshkosh; six grandsons; and seven great-grandsons.
He was also predeceased by four sisters and two brothers.
