Lucht, Gerhardt (18 February 1913-6 April 1991)
LOYAL--Services for Gerhardt Lucht, 78, who died Wednesday at the Colby Living
Center, will be Saturday at Trinity Lutheran Church, Loyal.
The Rev, Joseph R. Kraly, will officiate. Burial will be in the Lutheran
Cemetery, Loyal.
Pallbearers will be John and Todd Schultz, Kenneth Voss, Tim Lima, Arthur Petke
III, and Dale Barneson. Visitation will be at Rinka Funeral Home, Loyal.
He was born February 18, 1913, in the town of Loyal, to Charles and Elsa (Oesrtreich)
Lucht. He attended Spokeville School, rural Loyal. He married Emily Bredlau
January 5, 1943, in Marshfield.
He farmed most of his life in the town of Loyal. He retired in 1971, but
continued to live on the farm until January. He then became a resident of the
Colby Living Center. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.
He is survived by his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Krin Hill of Eau Claire and Mrs.
Art (Kathy) Petke Jr., of Withee; two sisters, Mrs. Elaine Bertz and Mrs. Ruth
Weyhmiller, both of Loyal: two granddaughters; two grandsons; and two
great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his parents.
