Redmond, Phillip V. (1914? – OCT 1972)
Phillip V. Redmond, past president of the Livermore Rod and Gun Club, died
Monday in an Oakland, California hospital after a long illness. He was 58.
Mr. Redmond owned and operated the Livermore Auto and Trailer Court, California
for 23 years.
He was a life member of the Rod and Gun Club, serving as president in 1961 and
1962, and is one of 10 members of the club’s Hall of Fame.
A native of Beneld, Illinois, Mr. Redmond moved here from Chicago in 1949. He
was also a member of the Livermore Luthophiles and Sophia Gnostic Society.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary Redmond of Livermore (formerly Mary Wolf
of Thorp, Clark Co., Wis.); a son, Ronald Redmond of Pleasanton; and a sister,
Mrs. Doris Zimmerman of Falls Church, Virginia.
