Nelson, Ronald Leroy (14 April 1948-9 September 1988)

CHILI--Ronald L. Nelson, 40, town of Sherman, died Friday afternoon near his home.

Services were today at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Loyal. The Rev. Chester Osowski officiated. Burial was in the Loyal Lutheran Cemetery. Pallbearers were James Rudoll, Joseph Zupanc, Randy Potter, Erlin Roehl, and George, Milton and Norbert Rennicke. The Rinks Funeral Home, Loyal, handled arrangements.

He was born April 14, 1948, in Black River Falls, to Walter and Vernell Nelson. He was a 1966 graduate of the Loyal High School.

He married June Rennicke June 14, 1969, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Grafton.

He worked in Grafton for one year and at the Neillsville Foundry for many years. He also worked for the city of Loyal and at Weyerhaeuser Company in Marshfield.

He is survived by his father, Walter; his wife, June; three sons, Shannon, Corey, and Bryan, all at home; one daughter, Nicole, at home; seven brothers, David, John, Dennis, Dallas and Ricky, all of Loyal, Randy of Texas, and Jack of Greenwood; five sisters, Mrs. Erlin (Bonnie) Roehl, Mrs. Joseph (Beverly) Zupanc, and Mrs. Randall (Nila) Potter, all of Loyal, Mrs. Curt (Carol) Richter of Milwaukee, and Mrs. James (Rosemary) Rudoll of Neillsville.

He was predeceased by his mother, Vernell and one Brother, Russell.
