Fire of undetermined origin leveled and old landmark barn Sunday evening (15 Oct
1972). The barn is owned by Harold Williams and located on the farm joining the
William’s farm to the east.
Approximately 200 bales of hay were destroyed. The structure was built in the
late 1800’s. Owen firemen were called to the scene.
