Olsen, Alvira (27 August 1922-17 September 1987)

WISCONSIN RAPIDS--Alvira Olsen, 65, 620 Webb St., died Thursday in Waukesha.

Services will be Monday at the Higgins Funeral Home. The Rev. Larry Jorstad will officiate. Burial will be in the Loyal Lutheran Cemetery, Loyal.

Mrs. Olsen was born in Loyal August 27, 1922, to Ernest and Laura Stayton. She married Vern Olsen in Greenwood October 16, 1943.

She moved to Wisconsin Rapids from West Allis after her husband retired.

Survivors include her husband; her mother, Laura Stayton of Wisconsin Rapids; two brothers, Carl of Wild Rose and Robert of Wisconsin Rapids; and three sisters, Luella Fink of Waupun, Marjorie Pickett of Nekoosa and Nancy Billmeyer of Wisconsin Rapids.
