Pieper, Sophie (30 November 1902-30 January 1979)

GREENWOOD-- Services will be Friday at St. Mary's Catholic Church for Mrs. Sophie Pieper, 76, Black Riverview Apartments. She died Tuesday at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield.

The Rev. Robert B. Houston will officiate and burial will be in Loyal Cemetery.

Pallbearers, all nephews, will be Robert, Cletus, Howard and James Susa, Hubert Bodwin and Albert Susa Jr.

The former Sophie Susa was born November 30, 1902 and received her education at West Eaton School. She was married to Reinhardt Pieper October 1, 1925 in Illinois.

They farmed in the town of Beaver until 1950 when they moved to Milwaukee. Mrs. Pieper was employed by Johnson Cookie Company in Milwaukee. The past 15 years she lived in Greenwood.

She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church.

A daughter, Mrs. Genevieve Bentzler of Milwaukee, and three grandchildren survive. Her husband predeceased her.

Visitation will be at Rinks Funeral HOme.
