Ritzel, Sadie (11 April 1890 – 14 March 1976)

Funeral services were to be held Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. from the Georgas Funeral Home for Sadie Ritzel, 85, a resident of the Colonial Nursing Home, Colby, who died there Sunday, March 14. The Rev. Joseph Henseler of St. Mary’s Catholic Church was to officiate, and burial was to follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.

Miss Ritzel, the daughter of Joseph and Margaret Meyer Ritzel, was born April 11, 1890, in Neillsville and was educated in local schools. She spent most of her lifetime in the Neillsville area. Miss Ritzel died following a lingering illness.

She is survived by one brother-in-law, Carl Thoma of Neillsville.
