Weaver, Percy (10 August 1905 – 10 March 1976)
Percy Weaver, 70, died at his home in Bloomer, March 10 from an apparent heart
attack. Services were held March 13 from the Olson Funeral Home, with the Rev.
Roger Mealiff officiating. Masonic services were held at 8 p.m. March 12.
Mr. Weaver was born August 10, 1905, in Loyal. At an early age, he moved to
Neillsville, where he made his home until 1935.
On June 12, 1935, he married the former Mabel Benash of Janesville. They moved
to Dwight, Il., where he operated a retail store until he retired in 1970.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, James of Eau Claire and Gerry of Madison;
a brother, Dr. Walter
Weaver of Jacksonville, Fl., and a sister, Mrs. Elmer (Helen) Haselow, Owen; and
four grandchildren.
