Rusch, Mary Elizabeth (25 March 1878-6 January 1964)
Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Rusch, 85, 318 Chicago Ave., died after a lingering illness
Monday in a local hospital.
Funeral services will be held Thursday in St. Stephen Lutheran Church. The Rev.
Ervin Seidel will officiate and burial will be in the Lutheran Cemetery at
Loyal. The body will be in Ritter & Deutsch Funeral Home Wednesday.
Mrs. Rusch, the former Mary Elizabeth Moldenhauer, was born March 25, 1878, in
Manitowoc County, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Moldenhauer. Married
December 21, 1899, in Manitowoc County to the late William A. Rusch, She had
been a Wausau resident since 1941. Mr. Rusch died in 1939 During the past two
years Mrs. Rusch had been staying in Homme Home for the Aged at Wittenberg.
Survivors include nine daughters, Mrs. Emil Buse, Spencer, Mrs. Edwin Leeborg,
Evanston, Illinois, Mrs. Carl Blaubach, Schofield, Liss Loraine Rusch,
Rothschild, Mrs. Alben Erickson, 307 Fleming St., Mrs. Larry Dawson, Vallejo.
California, Mrs. Earl Thums, Tempe, Arizona, and Mrs. Melvin Pope and Mrs.
Donald Rothenbach, both of Oshkosh; two sons, Harold, Janesville, and Oscar,
Minneapolis, Minnesota; a brother, Carl J. Moldenhauer, Huntington, Indiana; 21
grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren.
