Schmidt, Blanche (4 September 1894-30 March 1979)

LOYAL-- Mrs. Blanche Schmidt, 85, of 211 N. Division St., died Friday at Neillsville Memorial Hospital.

Services will be Monday at Rinka Funeral Home, Loyal, the Rev. Sam Kochel of Our Savior Lutheran Church, Greenwood, officiating, and burial will follow in Loyal Lutheran Cemetery.

Mrs. Schmidt, the former Blanche Francis, was born September 4, 1894 in the town of Eaton and received her education in Eaton Township School. She was married April 20, 1917 at Loyal to Albert Schmidt who died June 1923.

After marriage they farmed in the town of Beaver. Following her husband's death she moved to the city of Loyal where she since had resided.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Elmer (Genevieve) Luepke, Racine, and Mrs. Howard (Ila) Olsen, Route 1, Owen; a son, Harold, Argyle; nine grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Besides her husband, she was predeceased by a son and three brothers.
