Leszewski, Stella (8 FEB 1887 – 13 NOV 1972)

Stella (Mizerka) Leszewski, 85, passed away November 13, 1972 at Havenet Nursing Home, Owen (Clark Co., Wis.). Funeral services were held at St. Hedwig’s Chapel, Thorp, on Wednesday, November 15th, 10:30 a.m., with Father Will Grelle officiating. Interment was made in the parish cemetery (New St. Hedwig’s). Pallbearers were: Malin Balicki, Paul Cukla, John Balcer, John Kollack, John Mizerka and Wayne Sondgeroth.

Mrs. Leszewski was born February 8, 1887 in Buffalo, New York. In September 1912 she married John Mizerka in Thorp (Clark Co.), who passed away in August of 1941. In June of 1952 she married John Leszewski Sr.

Surviving are her husband, John Leszewski Sr., Owen; one son, Leonard Mizerka, Thorp; one step-son, John Leszewski Jr.; two step-daughters, Mrs. Art Behm and Mrs. Dan Becker; one grandson, John Mizerka, and three great-granddaughters.
