Huls, Terry (28 OCT 1972)
A very pretty wedding took place at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Thorp, on
Saturday, October 28, 1972, when Terry Huls became the bride of Sam D. Borowski,
Reverend R.W. Olson officiated.
Terry was given in marriage by her father. She wore a handmade gown of white
velvet with pearls. Her full length veil was held in place with baby’s breath,
and her bouquet was of white daisies. She met Sam at the Altar, while her
sister, Robin, Sang “The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face.” Mary Neisius
accompanied on the guitar.
Attendants for the couple were Cindy Moskiewicz as maid of honor, and Jim Wolfe
as best man. Attendants were Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Campbell and Heidi Huls and
Ricky Biddle. The girls wore identical dresses in three different shades of
orange, with matching headpieces, and carried bouquets of fall flowers. The
groom and his attendants wore tuxedos.
After the marriage ceremony, “The Lord’s Prayer” was sang by David Ostness, a
friend of the bride and groom.
A reception was held at the Legion Hall for 150 guests.
The couple will reside in rural Thorp, where they are engaged in farming.
