Wolfe, Emily Lucille (30 October 1915-29 April 1988)
SPENCER-- Emily Lucille Wolfe, 72, Spencer, died Friday at St. Joseph's
Hospital, Marshfield.
Services will be Monday at Trinity Lutheran Church, Loyal. with the Rev. Joseph
Kraly officiating. Visitation will be at Rux Funeral Home, Spencer.
The former Emily Winkler was born October 30, 1915, in Unity, a daughter of the
late Edward and Thea Winkler.
She graduated from Unity grade and high schools, as well as Marathon Normal
School.
She was married to Milton Wolfe December 29, 1941, in Yuma, Arizona. He died
April 13, 1972.
She taught in schools throughout Clark County for many years and worked at
ShopKo, Marshfield for the last 13 years before retiring.
She had resided in Spencer for the past 14 years. She was a member of Trinity
Lutheran and the Ladies of the Church.
Surviving are one son, Gary of Lafayette, Louisiana; one daughter, Mrs. Dennis
(Pamela) Bertz of Verona; one brother, Edward Winkler of Tomahawk; one sister.
Mrs. George (Evelyn) Jeske of Thorp; and six grandchildren.
Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by two brothers.
