Miss Beverly Jean Olah and Allen E. Erickson were united in marriage by the Rev.
David Pankow in Zion Lutheran Church, Colby, on June 5, 1971.
Debbie Pankow was the organist for the 7 p.m. ceremony.
Parents of the bridal couple are Mr. and Mrs. Michael Olah, route 1, Colby, and
Mr. and Mrs. Bror Erickson, route 1, Curtiss.
For her wedding day, Beverly chose a white lace over satin street-length dress
and crown headpiece with shoulder length veil. Her flowers were red roses and
white carnations.
The maid of honor, Miss Shirley Erdman of Colby, wore a coral street-length
dress and a corsage of white carnations and coral roses.
Galen Erdman was the best man.
A reception for the couple was held in the Galen Erdman home following the
ceremony.
The bride attended Colby High School and is employed at Badger Basket in Edgar.
The groom also attended Colby High School and is employed by Wick Buildings,
Inc., Spencer.
The couple is making their first home in N&S Apartments in Colby.
A wedding trip is planned for later in the summer.
