Sonnemann, Anna A. (25 AUG 1889 – 14 JUN 1971)

Mrs. Anna Augusta Sonnemann, 81, died Monday afternoon in her home in the Town of Hull (Marathon, Co., Wis.).

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today in the Lulloff Funeral Home, Colby (Clark Co., Wis.), where visitation was held Wednesday afternoon and evening.

The Rev. Kenneth A. Dix will conduct last rites, with burial in Colby Memorial Cemetery.

Mrs. Sonnemann was born in Manitowoc County August 25, 1889.

She married William Sonnemann July 3, 1909 in Lewis Corners, and farmed there until 1912, when they moved to the Colby area. They farmed and lived east of Colby since.

Surviving are two sons, Arno of Bondsville, Massachusetts, and Lester of Colby; a daughter, Mrs. Carl (Stella) Oman, Waukesha; and 14 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, a son, and a sister.

Sonnemann, Anna A. (25 AUG 1889 – 14 JUN 1971)

Funeral services for Mrs. Anna Sonnemann, 81, Route 2, Colby, were held last Thursday at 2 p.m., in the Lulloff Funeral Home, with the Rev. Bervia Scott, pastor of the United Methodist Church of Colby, officiating.

Pallbearers were Walter Runzheimer, Richard Aderhold, John Raska, William Beaver, Calvin Hafemann and Paul Oman.

Burial was in Colby Memorial Cemetery.

Out of town visitors to the funeral were Arno Sonnemann, Bondsville, Mass., Mrs. Stella Oman, Waukesha, and Gilbert Gutschow, Manitowoc.
