Guests of Mrs. Edwin Grambort over the Dairy Days weekend were Mr. and Mrs. John
Anderson and family, Menomonee Falls, Mr. and Mrs. Alva Rehberg and family and
Mrs. Celia Leichtnam of Tomah. Mrs. Rehberg and family and Mrs. Celia Leichtnam
spent the past week visiting here while Mr. Rehberg was attending Northwestern
University, Evanston, Illinois.
Mr. and Mrs. Art Leichtnam have sold their home on N. 3rd Street to Mr. and Mrs.
Delyle Singstock. The Singstocks have rented the upstairs apartment to Mr.
Robert Kohn, and the downstairs apartment has been rented to Mr. and Mrs. Robert
Buss.
Sunday afternoon and supper guests of Mr. and Mrs. Anton Schmirler were Mr. and
Mrs. Joseph Schmirler from Edgar. The two men are brothers.
Mr. and Mrs. Gib Wiedenhoeft and family, Madison, came Saturday morning and had
dinner at the Anton Schmirler home. In the afternoon Mr. and Mrs. Wiedenhoeft
went to Dale, Wisconsin to attend a wedding, and the children remained here. On
Sunday they got their children and returned to Madison.
Mrs. Elsie Miles, Silver Spring, Maryland, and her mother, Flossie Thwing,
Greenwood, called at the Ruth Stowe home one day last week. Mrs. Miles is a
niece of Mrs. Stowe and Mrs. Thwing is her sister-in-law.
