Hallowell, Lydia Elmira (13 October 1861-7 April 1944)

Lydia Elmira Hallowell, 82, died Friday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Harold Wolkes, 130 Law Street, with whom she had made her home since July 1, 1943. She was born October 13, 1861, near Hartford.

Surviving are two sons, Charles and Arthur Hallowell, both of Marshfield; two daughters, Mrs. H. H. Wantland, Loyal, and Mrs. Wilkes, Neenah; 19 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at Loyal, with burial in Pine Grove Cemetery there. Friends may call at the Pelton-Eckardt Funerl Home. Prayer service will be conducted by the Rev. William A. Riggs, pastor of the Methodist church.
