Mrs. Nellie Miller, Jefferson, Iowa, arrived last Saturday and stayed until
Thursday with her son and his family, Mr. and Mrs. Leo Miller. During her visit,
the Millers held a family dinner on Sunday to celebrate her belated 81st
birthday anniversary. Present for the occasion were Mr. and Mrs. Patrick Miller
and family, Wausau, Mrs. Robert Misener and Scott, Colby, Mr. and Mrs. James
Diedrich and family, Unity, Miss Regina Miller of Wausau, and Suzanne, Kathleen,
Janet and John Miller.
Miss Rose Glabas, Chicago, Bill Knaak, South Dakota, Mr. and Mrs. Peter Glabas
and family, Florida, Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Glabas, Oklahoma, Jacob Glabas, Bobby
and Joey of Chicago, are visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Tony Rychtik, rural Colby.
Mr. and Mrs. Donald Rosenlef, Roger, Donald Jr. and Robbie of Unity, and Mrs.
John Anderson of Colby spent Sunday at Sheldon with Mr. and Mrs. Paul Kauffman,
John and Paula Kay. Roger and Donald Jr. remained for the week, and their
sister, who had spent the previous week there, returned home.
