Tim Rau and Alan Prestebak, members of the Liberty 4-H Club, will participate in
district dairy judging at Rice Lake in the junior division, as a result of being
winners in the Taylor County diary judging contest recently. Brian Tauchen will
compete in the senior division. The district contest will be June 28.
Mrs. Mary Semolke and two daughters, Mrs. Mathilda Schwahm and Mrs. Lorna
Neumann of Portland, Oregon were dinner guests at the William Jantsch home
Monday. They are here visiting relatives in the Edgar area.
Mr. and Mrs. Herber Werner of Milwaukee spent the weekend with Mrs. Alvina
Marlow and visited other relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Malchow were supper
guests of Mrs. Marlow Saturday.
Mr. and Mrs. Earl Daufenbach and family, Elgin, Illinois, spent the weekend with
her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Martin Stelzel.
Sister Theres Geiger, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mike Geiger, received a Master’s
Degree in School Administration at De Paul University in Chicago, Illinois on
June 12, 1971. Mr. and Mrs. Donald Peissig attended the ceremonies in Chicago.
Mrs. Peissig and Sister Therese are sisters.
