Neuman, Helen E. (16 May 1915-9 September 1979)

LOYAL-- Mrs. Helen E. Neuman, 64, of 525 N. Main died Sunday afternoon at Neillsville Memorial Hospital. She had been a patient there for the past six days.

Services are set for Wednesday at Rinka Funeral Home here. The Rev. Charles Sanford of United Methodist Church will officiate. The body will be cremated.

The former Helen Church was born here May 16, 1915 and graduated from Loyal High School. On July 28, 1935 at Greenwood, she was married to Raymond 'Swede" Neuman.

From 1945-66, the couple owned and operated Neuman Supper Club. They then operated North Mound Tavern at Mead Lake and in 1970 returned to Loyal to operate Loyal Cafe until retirement in 1974. He died July 8, 1977.

A sister, Mrs. Herbert (Margaret) Braun of Loyal, survives.
