Gary Sterzinger, R. 1, Colby, is one of 48 Wisconsin State University, Superior
athletes named to the Wisconsin State University Conference scholastic honor
roll.
The honor roll is designed to encourage and recognize superior academic
performances by varsity athletes engaged in inter-collegiate sports.
To be eligible, a varsity athlete must attain a grade point average of 3.0 (out
of a possible 4) for the two semesters (or three quarters) comprising the normal
academic year. He must have completed a minimum of 24 semester hours (or 36
quarter hours) during the year.
The WSU Conference office publishes the honor roll and presents individual
certificates to the winners.
This past years Gary Sterzinger was a freshman at WSU, Superior, majoring in
physical education. He participated in football.
