Balow, Dwight J. (15 OCT 1892 – 20 JUL 1971)
Dwight J. Balow, age 78, Route 1, Colby, died at 6 p.m. Tuesday evening in his
home.
Funeral services will be held at Polnaszek Funeral Home at 2 p.m. today, where
the body lied in state after 6 p.m. Wednesday.
Murry Keene, Clinton Goff, and Loren Hamilton will conduct the last rites.
Mr. Balow was born October 15, 1892 in Eau Claire, the son of August and Sophia
(Miller) Balow.
He was married to Adelia Ferguson on December 2, 1922 in Oroville, California.
A World War I Veteran, he is survived by his wife, 22 foster children and a
sister, Mrs. Mildred Roberts, New Port Richey, Florida.
He was preceded in death by two brothers. Burial will be in the Abbotsford
Cemetery.
