Mr. and Mrs. Nels Anderson, Tammi and Carl, have recently returned from a two
week vacation, which took them through Minnesota, North Dakota, and Montana. In
Montana they visited Peck’s Dam and Reservoir, went through Glacier National
Park, went to Alberta, Canada, where they visited Banff National Park in the
Canadian Rockies, and traveled through Saskatchewan, Manitoba and Ontario. They
camped at Trans-Canada campgrounds and Provincial Park.
Visitors at the Walter Loos home Sunday were Ben Krohn, Wausau, Mr. and Mrs.
Ervin Riemer and Mr. and Mrs. Martin Knab, Athens, and Mr. and Mrs. Dean Loos
and daughter, Dawn, Colby.
Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Schjoneman of Coos Bay, Oregon, spent a week with parents,
Mr. and Mrs. Halver Becken Sr., Colby, and Mrs. Edith Schjoneman, Abbotsford,
and sister, Mrs. Ed Witte, Colby. They were given a get-together picnic last
Saturday at the Cherokee Park by relatives and friends.
Mr. and Mrs. Halver Becken Jr. and family of Milwaukee are spending their
vacation in northern Wisconsin.
Miss Christine Wilde and fiancé, Milwaukee, spent the weekend with Christine’s
grandmother, Mrs. Kate Wilde.
