McCarron, Gladys (April 1904-2 February 1981)

DORCHESTER-- Mrs. Pat (Gladys) McCarron, 76, of 206 Second Ave died Monday at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield. She was admitted there that day.

The funeral will be Thursday at Salem United Methodist Church, the Rev. Clem Dozer officiating. Burial will be in Dorchester Memorial Cemetery.

Friends may call at Maurina Funeral Home.

The former Gladys Martens was born here in April 1904. She attended Dorchester High School and then worked in Milwaukee until 1925. She was married that year to Mr. McCarron, a cattle buyer in this area. He died in 1965.

She operated a dress shop here with her sister, Jane, a number of years. She was a member of Salem United Methodist Church, the auxiliary to Leach-Paulson American Legion Post, and was a 50-year member of Royal Neighbors.

Surviving are one son, Neil of Colby; two sisters, Mrs. Guy (Jane) Dorazio of Colby and Mrs. Margaret Martins of Des Plaines, Illinois; and one grandson. Two brothers are deceased.
