Barts, Mr./Mrs. Armin (Gold – 20 SEP 1971)

Mr. and Mrs. Armin Barts of Route 1, Abbotsford, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday, July 24, 1971. A reception was held at 6 p.m. at Dorchester Memorial Hall, followed by dinner and dancing.

Attending were all of their children and attendants from 50 years ago, Mrs. Ruth Goldschmidt, Colby; Viola Nickish, Sheboygan, and William Zarnke, Stratford.

They were married September 20, 1921 in the Evangelical Church at Colby.

They are the parents of a son, Ray, Curtiss; three daughters, Mrs. Adolph (Lila) Thieme, Jefferson; Mrs. Kenneth (Iola) Merritt, Plains, Kansas, and Mrs. Everett (Erma) Denzin, Laramie, Wyoming; 15 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

Guests came from Wyoming, Kansas, Minnesota, Canada, Milwaukee, Sheboygan, Wausau and the nearby area.
