College News (Honors - 1976)
Rodney Friedrichsen of rural Granton, has received the William Pors Award as the
outstanding student at the University of Wisconsin Center, Marshfield-Wood
County.
In addition to the award, Friedrichsen also received an Associate of Science
degree, earned placement on the Dean’s list for two semesters, and was honored
for placement on the scholastic honor roll for athletes. He is the son of Mr.
and Mrs. Robert Friedrichsen of Granton.
Also honored were: Jean Berger of Chili, who received an Associate of Arts
degree, on the Dean’s list for three semesters in the highest honors category;
Steve VanDam of Neillsville, Associate of Science degree; and Margaret Paulson,
Rt. 1 Neillsville, placement on the Dean’s list for three semesters.
The announcements were made during the school’s annual convocation.
