A member of Carmi Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star, (blotch) 1924, Adelaide
Mary Kleckner of Neillsville, died Saturday May 15, following a lingering
illness. Eastern Star services were conducted Tuesday at noon from the
Georgas-Gesche Funeral Home, and interment followed in the Neillsville City
Cemetery.
Adelaide Mary Kleckner, daughter of Mathias and Emma Spehn Kass, was born in
Fountain City and she was educated in the Thorp area. She worked as a telephone
operator in Thorp, and later was (blotch) employed in Neillsville for many
years. Her marriage to Alfred J. Kleckner took place July 1, 1916, in
Minneapolis, Mn.
Survivors, in addition to her husband, include two children, Robert (Joyce)
Duckert of (blotch) and John Kleckner of (blotch); three sisters, Mrs. (blotch)
Juneman of Stratford, Mrs. Walter (Vera) Boelter of Stratford (?) and Mrs. C.E.
(Carolyn) Burdick of Wauwatosa; and five grandchildren.
