Dux, Estella (6 September 1901- 7 February 1981)

NEILLSVILLE-- Services for Mrs. Estella B. Dux, 79, who died Saturday at Memorial Home, will be Tuesday at United Methodist Cemetery.

The Rev. William Noble is to officiate. Burial will be in Neillsville Cemetery. Friends may call at Gesche Funeral Home.

Mrs. Dux was born September 6, 1901 in the town of Seif to William and Cora (Halbrader) Humboldt and educated there. She attended Blackberry School and worked in Tioga Store several years.

On March 24, 1927 in Greenwood, she and Emil R. Dux were married. They farmed in the towns of York, Hewett and Seif before moving here in 1952. She worked at various restaurants. A resident of Memorial Home the past two years, she was affiliated with United Methodist Church and American Legion Auxiliary.

Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Manley (Erline) Walker of Prairie Farm; one son, DeWayne Dux of Neillsville; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Her husband died March 9, 1959. A brother also is deceased.

Arnold Carl, Martin Feuerstein, Harold Mayer, Melvin Marg, Herman Carl and Alvin Ziegler are to serve as pallbearers.
